The title of the blog is based on an old Xbox Live gamer tag my brother and I had way back when. Obviously since I am only one member of the team, I couldn't possibly use just the gamer tag, hence the added "Andrew and..." part of the title. Since I like music, electronic things, mountain biking, and Halo armor you can expect to see a rather strange assortment of all of the above in the depths of this blog.

Ebay and Potter (of the Harry kind)
I don't know how many of you have sold things on ebay before, but yesterday I had the experience to do so. It was rather interesting because I started rooting for the guy who placed the first bid, but literally 10 seconds before the bid ended someone outbid him. I'm not real fond of the guy that outbid him either because it has been 24 hours and he hasn't payed me yet. Anyway, if you get a chance to sell something on ebay I'd recommend it. It's a rather interesting process and it's quite fun. On another note, I saw the new Harry Potter movie two days ago and it was fantastic! The acting, score, and environment/scenery was great. If you haven't seen it yet, go see it while it's still in theaters, it's well worth the money. Go see it now!!!

It's Thanksgiving!
It's finally Thanksgiving break and in just 4 weeks it'll be Christmas break!
Some friendly words of advice:
If you get fed up with paying for parking in the pay to park lot, you can always make yourself a free spot...
I can't really explain this?
Being literate is a real advantage.

Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder Performante
Normally I don't like convertibles, but I gotta say, if someone handed me this one I'd probably take it. I don't think I'd want to go 201mph with the top down though.
In case you're interested the Top Gear website is where I got this picture and it even comes with an article!

Is it winter yet?
I woke up with a sore throat today, so no doubt that winter is on its way, although for being mid November there's not very much snow on the ground... Ah well, I could be in Canada jumping bikes off snowy peaks in some pretty epic mountain ranges!

More Halo? I think yes!
By popular demand, here's the rest of the not yet complete Halo armor.
These are the shoulder/biceps along with the forearms.
This is the helmet (it's actually too big so I'll have to redo it, but you get the idea)
Chest piece
The backpack (probably one of the harder pieces to make)
The stomach
The highly attractive thighs
and just for kicks, another shot of the helmet. The side this time.

For those of you who know about Pinkbike...
Part of biking is knowing your limits, but also pushing yourself. A lot of the time, all it takes is a little courage and some of the time, you wish you had planned a little better...
A pepakura version of the Halo 1 pistol
This is some of what I did over Christmas break last summer. It didn't turn out perfect by any means, but it's a good start.
A cheap bike doesn't mean a bad bike... by any means.
In October I took a tip with a couple of friends down to Denver to go buy some bikes! We waited, luckily close to the front, in a ginormous line to get into VeloSwap (the biking convention we came for). Once in it was a mad dash to find what we were looking for, but within 30 minutes we had a bike (Giant Reign X) for my brother. I then proceeded to find myself a HKS DJ200 for the measly price of $200, not to mention a RockShox Pike for $100, and a SunRingle ADD light for $30.
